Wells Leader Planning and executing the Well revival campaigns: Alignment of expectations from suppliers and vendors to up man for high peak of activities Align base business Contracts to ensure scope included (Wireline works, pumping services, plug engineering support, XT & WH services, PTC as etc.) or Set up Specific Contracts, if needed, for specialized equipment (deployment tools for WH extension spools, MSAS installation tools, offshore transport baskets for WH extension spools etc.) Plan and execute Main well reinstatement, unsuspension of wells and well start-up (42 wells across four off wellhead platforms) At all times, the job holder will: Demonstrate personal commitment to the HSE Policy Maintain awareness of and ensure compliance with all relevant Statutory and Company HSE standards Maintain awareness of and ensure compliance with all relevant Company Rules and Guidelines Actively participate in Company safety awareness and initiative schemes In undertaking this role, the job holder will: Be responsible for meeting agreed objectives and implementation of the operating procedures Adapt to changes in work practices, reporting requirements and job activities. Adhere to the values and principles of the Company Code of Conduct at all times Activities: Project specific: The project will re-establish inherently safe operations at the installations by: Fabricating new topsides and bridges and install these with appropriate air gap. Installing a new Process module and a new Utility and Living Quarter module. Removal and disposal of redundant facilities. Safeguarding production from the southern oil fields during the shut-in The general Wells and Subsurface strategy have been to secure the wells safely on all four wellhead platforms safely while ensuring adequate resource value is captured to support the financial base case (this critical milestone has now been achieved). The Project is now in the Execution phase and focus for the Wells scope is to ensure wells will be ready for start-up as per integrated project plan. The Wells Team key objective is to demonstrate readiness to execute the work for offshore execution as per integrated plan. The top-tier value drivers for the project (not in order of priority): Safety Project economics (well stock, wells back on stream) Technical do-ability (wells revival scope ensuring wells ready for production) Minimize exposure To support this concept a detailed work program is required to confirm that all relevant scopes are set in place in a timely manner. A cross discipline work scope involving Subsurface, Production Technology, Drilling & Wells and Facilities disciplines. High level overview of the work to ensure readiness will include, but not limited to the following: Extension Spool design – 100% compliant for both DQ and BH, SIT reports issued confirming as per design requirements X-Tree refurbishment completed, DNV acceptance, stored and ready for call off (matched with well number) Wellhead valve arrangement aligned with vendors and all equipment interfaces confirmed. Ready for installation Cross project alignment ensuring clarity on roles and responsibilities around hook up of wells Detailed procedures ready to support offshore execution of planned work Key workshops with all key stakeholders Contracting strategy for identified all related well work (all key Contract / Vendors are aligned with our key objective) Contract(s) fit for purpose to support work to be executed Key handover documentation package for Project to Affiliate DNV GL compliance requirements (Well scope and battery limits) Align ALL parties involved with a common goal ensuring expectations for the well revival campaigns are understood Accountabilities: Deliver the Well Scope within the project in accordance with the Project Success Factors: Execute project with an Incident Free mindset Remove subsided topsides as soon as possible (completed) Minimize the deferment of oil and gas production during the shut-in Complete project within the approved budget Engage and leverage stakeholders and contractors to create value Operate the new facilities as per design and expectations after start-up Qualifications and Experience Needed: BSc in relevant engineering discipline or combination of Diploma with documented experience to support. Minimum 15 years’ experience within the upstream oil and gas environment with key competencies (past and present) in the following: Solid understanding of wells environment (completion design, production and drilling technologies, workover, well intervention, well optimization, well abandonment) Offshore experience essential (rig and platform-based exposure) Held position as Senior wells engineer and / or Wells (Well services) superintendent or similar Understanding of base wells software applications (Landmark products, Flow performance, Reservoir Analysis) Project – Team leads or technical lead Strong understanding and proficient in all basic Microsoft suite of software Due to broad work scope effective leadership outside his/her own technical area is essential Strong relational skills, listening and communication Good communication skills for internal and external relationships Results oriented, accountable, and problem-solving capabilities Capacities of observation, analysis and decision making Proven ability to lead across boundaries and to develop effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders including partners and national regulatory authorities Capability to manage ambiguity, to develop scenario-based strategies and to effectively prioritize effort will be assessed.
