VisitDenmark is looking for an English-speaking Student Assistant to help with our Social Media management – VisitDenmark – Copenhagen

VisitDenmark works to increase awareness and preference of Denmark as a travel destination for an international target group, and as our new Student Assistant you will be an important part of our ambitious Digital Marketing Team in Copenhagen.Roles and responsibilities: As Student Assistant you will be responsible for content development and community management on our Social Media channels. We primarily work with Facebook and Instagram, but also Twitter, Pinterest and YouTube. In your role, you will also act as a sparring partner for ideas and trends, for example about emerging platforms such as TikTok. You will work closely with our international Content Team, who ensure the editorial line in campaigns and always-on activities, both on social platforms, websites and in newsletters.Your primary areas of responsibility will be: Creating content, e.g., selecting photos or videos and writing posts, for our social platforms. Community management in English on our social platforms. Researching of latest trends and features on our current or new platforms. Ongoing ad hoc tasks. Your experience and qualifications: We imagine that you are in the process of a bachelor’s or master’s in tourism, communication, media, marketing or similar. Ideally, you have a minimum of 1,5 years left of your education.We are looking for a person with a passion for social media, great writing skills and an eye for visual communication. You might already have some professional experience with social media management, community management or copywriting. Experience or an interest in basic photo or video editing would be an advantage but is no requirement.Besides creativity, we welcome an interest in data and insights. You should be able to conduct basic analysis and share information about social media performance.Since you’ll be working with an international community, you need to be fluent in written and spoken English (native level). As our corporate language is Danish, it would be an advantage if you are able to communicate in basic Danish. Knowledge in other languages, such as German, is a plus.You must be able to work independently and in a structured manner – also with repetitive tasks. We will give you freedom to shape the solving of your tasks, use your initiative and be innovative. And we will be ready with feedback and guidance when you need it.We offer: An exciting student job of 15-20 hours per week that will allow you to develop your skills and competences within Digital Marketing.
