Research areas of interest include, but not limited to: Machine learning theoryDevelopment of machine learning tools for specialized domainsScalable and efficient machine learningApplications of machine learning to sustainability, including environment and the energy sectorQuantum machine learningSocietal aspects surrounding the use of machine learning, such as fairness, ethics, and privacy.
