ResponsibilitiesAs Technical Manager you will be responsible for leading a department and be responsible for CAPEX expenditures equipment and tool improvement activities. Contributes to growth strategy, Ammegas vision, mission, and values. You will be head of lead technical improvements in processes and share best practices and build a “technical leadership network” with other sites.This area of responsibility also includes the following tasks: Educate and develop employees in their areas of expertise. Focus on risk assessment and support in developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Provide production support in planning, setup, and implementation of best practices. Assist the Quality department in handling customer complaints. Lead the process engineers in scaling up new products and improving existing ones. Train local representatives responsible for standardization in current state analysis. Maximize production efficiency. Manage tool service activities (including TPM) to reduce unplanned downtime. Resolve daily operational challenges, acting as the first point of contact for shifts. Lead tool improvement processes (C/T, energy, waste, availability, etc.). Support the development of the best IT solutions for use on the factory floor. Support research of root cause on customer complaints. Work with team to develop and implement corrective action plan and implementation Define CAPEX and investment strategy, lead implementation and respective purchase activities Lead automation process Manage facilities and drive energy-saving initiatives. Develop business cases that support future investment strategies. Collaborate with production using existing operational optimization platforms for continuous improvement initiatives. Champion HSE initiatives. Share best practices and build “technical managers network” with other sites Your profile and backgroundYou are an authentic, reliable leader with excellent communication skills with a bachelor’s degree in engineering, design, operations and maintenance management, or a related field. You have ability to handle stress and crisis situations and to work on the factory floor and maintain a presence there. Minimum 5 years of previous management experience, preferably in operations and strong operational and engineering skills, including cost control and budgeting.Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing, including statistical analysis and ability to support supply chain processes and customer service. You are data-driven, predictable, and structured approach to tasks and have knowledge of engineering drawings and graphic systems (AutoCAD, etc.), as well as chemicals.The main language in the Group is English.
