RESPONSIBILITIESResponsible for driving commercial and technical activities within PLF, including lead generation, and converting them into successful sales and sustainable customer businessDevelop and implement plans for focus customers, including the coordination of competences as neededUnderstanding customer’s commercial and technical needs and opportunities (research, communicate, present), including professional interaction with all levels of managementCollate customer feedback as an input for potential new developmentsProvide training to customers and handle customer’s queriesPosition Evonik Animal Nutrition as a strategic player in the segment of PLF. Provide accurate and reliable monthly market information, as well as annual forecasts for customer demandCooperate with our global expert teams to develop, improve and establish strategies and tools for regional as well as global businessTrain the colleagues in the region on the Porphyrio® solutionsIn conjunction with regional and global Marketing and technical colleagues, initiate marketing and technical activities in promoting Evonik’s PLF at important industry events such as trade shows, digital ag conferences and workshopsREQUIREMENTSSuccessfully completed master’s degree in Animal Science or Bio-Science Engineering with strong background in IT, Data Science and insights into AgriculturePreferably 3-5 years of sales experience in the poultry industry, alternatively, 3–5 years first-hand experience with PLF systems in the poultry industryProfessional knowledge of livestock production in general, and poultry production in particularUnderstand the added value of digital solutions to support poultry productionAbility to translate the specific digital needs of poultry producers into (creative) sales arguments based on a sound technical understandingProven track record of commercial business developmentStrong project manager with intercultural understanding of project management, eye for detail, and focused on customer satisfactionStrong communication and presentation skillsExperience in negotiation, and problem solvingDistinct willingness to create and develop, capability to motivate and encourage specifically distributors and internal colleagues.Perfect English in both speaking and writing, additional language skills, e.g. Russian, French, Spanish to be of advantage25-50% Travel
