Your scope of work: Conceptual further development of the IT infrastructure in cooperation with the management/administrative management. User support for TWINCORE employees in all IT issues. Support for all local systems under Windows, Linux and MacOS. Support of all global server systems (virtualized) Support of all global disk systems Service and maintenance for the network in the TWINCORE building (firewall, routers, switches). Maintenance and support for the VPN connection Installation and support for specific scientific software Technical support for video conferencing technology and at events. Coordination of cooperation with the IT departments of the two shareholders. Budget responsibility for IT area Your qualification profile: Successful technical university/bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology or successfully completed technical training in the IT- field (e.g. Fachinformatiker:in etc.) with corresponding several years of experience. Extensive experience in the administration of IT systems under Windows (server and end systems). Relevant knowledge from the areas of networking, virtualization (VMware and PROXMOX), MS Active Directory and MS Exchange, telephony.
