The Risk Governance, Framework and Reporting team is responsible for reporting on the Group’s risk profile as well as maintaining the overall framework, data and infrastructure for non-financial risks. Furthermore, we support the work of various risk committees within the Group.As a student assistant, you will be working in close collaboration with the whole Risk Management function. You will support a number of important processes, including data aggregation, analysis and governance as well as regular management reporting. You will further receive the opportunity to work on the development and maintenance of reporting dashboards and the ad-hoc analysis and presentation of key findings.As a student assistant in Risk Governance, Framework and Reporting, your responsibilities will typically include:Data sourcing, aggregation and analysisPreparation of regular (monthly and quarterly) risk reportsMaintenance and further development of dashboards in PowerBIPreparation of reports for senior stakeholders, committees, etc.We offer a great opportunity to join a motivated and dedicated team of risk managers of diverse professional and cultural background and nationality. Part of the team is based in Amsterdam and cross-team collaboration in various activities is encouraged.Your profileYou are preferably in the last year of your Bachelor’s degree or studying for your Master’s degree within the fields of Finance, Economics or other relevant background and hold excellent academic results.You have a good understanding of financial markets and a technical skillset that includes the usage of the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint. It would be considered an advantage to have fundamental knowledge of reporting tools (such as PowerBI), data capture and storage models and data queries (SQL).You are motivated, curious in nature and eager to acquire knowledge in new areas. You have a structured and methodical approach to tasks and take a high degree of ownership, while also being able to work in a team setting. You thrive on finding intelligent and automated solutions and appreciate removing obstacles and impediments. You enjoy working in an international, cross-cultural environment and interact with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
