We call it Rethink Tomorrow.Join us as our new Student Assistant in the Innovation Portfolio & Strategy team in NovozymesJoin our dynamic and international team that is passionate about driving projects, portfolio and strategy to create biological innovation for the world.Working with Innovation Portfolio and Project Management is cross-functional in nature, ensuring a broad exposure to a large variety of stakeholders and tasks.You can expect a steep learning curve from day one, and you are guaranteed to develop a broad range of skills and network that will be highly valuable in your future work life.Welcome to Innovation Portfolio & Strategy, NovozymesWe are an international and high-performing team of 5 portfolio and project management specialists that are passionate about setting the guidance for driving highly complex innovation projects and bringing portfolio insights and strategic advice to our top management.We also collaborate closely with our sister departments consisting of 15 Project Directors and 4 Agile Coaches to anchor agile ways of working in our projects and deliver high-quality training to ensure project management competencies in the entire organization.In this role you’ll make an impact by:Planning training sessions and courses (e.g., schedule courses, invite participants & speakers, reserve meeting rooms & social event spaces, prepare training materials, etc.)Supporting our project portfolio management and strategy as a superuser of our PPM (project portfolio management) system (e.g. update system data, extract and analyze data, create business intelligent report to relevant stakeholders, test new IT solutions, build guidelines to support users)Ensuring that our one-source-of-truth portfolio data enables data driven strategic decision making (e.g. support our project managers and team members in working with our systems for efficient project schedules, business cases, resource management and ensure that resources and projects are registered correctly and on time)Designing a user-friendly one-stop-shop to ensure everyone working on innovation projects and portfolio & strategy work can have easy access to clear information on how we run innovation projects, where they can find good examples and where and how to find business intelligence reportsSupporting the Innovation Projects & Portfolio area with ad-hoc tasksPotentially relevant experience:Must speak and write English fluentlyMust be a master/graduate student with less than 2 years left until graduation or be in the last year of your bachelors/undergraduate studies. Preferably a student in business, finance, engineering or science.Have strong and proven data-analytical and problem-solving skills. Must be able to work with data in Excel.Have strong coordination and structured & clear communication skills. Must be able to work in PowerPoint.Be proactive in solving problems and enjoy challenging yourself to learn new things.Be a good team player who is also able to work independently and take responsibility for key deliverables.Be flexible with work hours. The workload may vary, and we expect mutual flexibility for you to solve tasks timely and at the same time attend exams.Location:This job will be located at Lyngby, Denmark.Working time expected: 10-20 hours per week with flexibility during exam periods.Hybrid work with an expectation of 1-2 day per week at the office.
