We are moving the majority of our data analytical work into a Hub & Spoke model and are looking for a skilled colleague in Power BI to join our agile release train covering marketing and innovation in Arla IT (The Spoke). About the job You will be part of the Marketing & Innovation IT team in Arla and be responsible for creating new or enhancing existing reporting solutions based on business requirements from product and innovation to our in-house agency “The Barn”. Specifically, you will: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand report requirements Develop data models, transformations and ETL processes for accurate and reliable data in Power BI Design reports, dashboards and visualizations to communicate insights and KPIs Enhancing existing solutions for improved performance Test, troubleshoot and resolve data or technical issues Stay updated with Power BI features and best practices Who are you? First and foremost, you have a strong motivation for working with data analytics. You are an analytical, detail-orientated person, who is passionate about the opportunities made available with appealing and interactive visualizations of data. Both communication and listening skills are a must in order to create effective user-oriented Power BI dashboards and reports based on stakeholders’ needs and requirements. Here, the collaboration is essential and thus important that you thrive in working with stakeholders from different areas of the business and like to support them to create reports that will bring valuable insights. Furthermore, you have: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or similar Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or similar Strong understanding of Power BI capabilities, DAX expressions and data modeling Knowledge of Power BI Desktop and Power Query Proficiency in SQL and relational databases Good knowledge of M language, data modelling techniques and best practices Understanding of UX principles for the reporting design What do we offer?
