Software/Process Engineer – ANDRITZ – Esbjerg


As a Software/Process Engineer you will be:

Improving system quality by identifying issues and common patterns, and developing standard operating procedures. Enhancing applications by identifying opportunities for improvement, making recommendations and designing and implementing systems.

Developing, configuring and optimizing industrial processes from inception through to start up and certification. Assessing processes, taking measurements and interpreting data. Designing, running, testing and upgrading systems and processes.


  • Commissioning of extrusion and pelleting process lines (automation and process)
  • Product development and process adjustment
  • Maintenance and process training of customer employees
  • Electrical, mechanical and automation preventive and corrective maintenances
  • Troubleshoot of electrical, mechanical, automation and process problems
  • Remote (Internet/telephone) and onsite support to customers
  • Recommendation of spare parts
  • Prepare technical reports
  • PLC programming in both Siemens and Rockwell
  • HMI/SCADA development

    Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in electrical / mechanical engineering, or process /marine engineering

    Desireable: Master’s degree in electrical / mechanical engineering, or process / marine engineering


  • High level customer focus
  • Travel activity globally is +180 days per year, why it is an advantage if you have travelled extensively in former similar jobs

  • Capable of making independent decisions
  • Good communications skills both in writing and orally
  • Fluent in English, where Spanish will be an advantage
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools and SAP
