Senior Solution Architect – Healthcare, Life Sciences EMEA – NVIDIA – Roskilde

What you will be doing:Be an inspiring leader for integrating NVIDIA technology in healthcare or life sciences use-cases and support creative solutions to the hardest problems in Science and Industry, e.g., by supervising projects on the Cambridge-1 super-computer.Partner with lighthouse customers to develop a keen understanding of their goals, strategies, and technical needs and help to develop high-value solutions meeting these requirements.Be responsible for the technical relationship with healthcare / life sciences customers and assist them in novel technological approaches based on NVIDIA technology.Stay up to date with the state-of-the-art developments in your field of expertise (bioinformatics/medical imaging/ …) to apply the latest advancements to customer needs.Document what you know and teach others: This can vary from building targeted training for partners and other Solutions Architects, to writing whitepapers, blogs, research publications and wiki articles, to working through hard problems with a customer on a whiteboard.Your responsibilities will include enabling customer adoption of NVIDIA technology and driving positive relationships with our technology partners, making NVIDIA an integral part of end-user solutions.We make heavy use of conferencing tools, but some travel is required for this role. You are empowered to find the best way to get your job done and make our technical engagements successful.What we need to see:Strong foundational expertise: MS or PhD degrees in Computational Biology, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or closely related fields (or equivalent work experience).5+ years of experience in software development, machine learning and/or high-performance computing.Deep understanding of healthcare / life sciences use-cases and problems that can be addressed with NVIDIA technology.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as written and oral communications skills leading to effective collaboration with teams across organizations (Management, Engineering, Product, Sales and Marketing team).Scientific computing experience including software development in scientific programming languages, such as C/C++, Python, and/or CUDA.Solid understanding of modern Deep Learning software architecture and frameworks and how to apply ML or DL to answer scientific questions related to healthcare/life sciences.Basic understanding of shell scripting and container technologies.Motivated self-starter with an equal balance of strong problem-solving skills and customer-facing communication skill.Excellent presentation skills of highly technical material and demonstrated capacity to deliver complex messaging to customers and partners.Strong time-management and organizational skills for coordinating multiple initiatives, priorities and implementations of new technology and products into very complex projects.Passion for continuous learning and sharing findings across the team.Ways to stand out from the crowd:Published record of thought leadership in a technical area or industry segment.Special skills related to large-scale computing, cloud computing or edge-computing.Understanding of dense datacenter design including compute, storage, and networking.Experience with accelerating scientific algorithms using parallel programming, e.g., using CUDA, OpenCL, or OpenACC.Experience with setting up productization environments for SW development or machine learning using continuous integration, DevOps, etc.Deep understanding of healthcare data structures, systems, and deployment of AI solutions in this field.Domain expertise in at least one of the following areas: genomics, bioinformatics, medical imaging technology, medical robotics.Significant deep learning experience and GPU-acceleration for use-cases related to healthcare or life sciences.
