With a rapid growth in demand for our medical devices, we are currently looking for a Senior Portfolio Manager for Moulding Equipment covering moulding tool suppliers and moulding equipment suppliers. As Senior Portfolio Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing category strategies of moulding tools, decoration equipment, robots and moulding machines, and the execution of the subsequent global sourcing projects. Your main responsibility will be to:Ensure that category strategies are in place depicting the strategic direction short term and long term,Drive Category Group Activities including Category Group Meetings, Supplier development, Supplier selection processes etc.,Ensure optimal utilization and development of Supplier Base,Collaborate with key suppliers, building sustainable relationship and identifying potential capacity constraints,Prioritise projects at suppliers,Develop category related market insights and follow market-trends to identify relevant sourcing opportunities and risks to act upon, Drive commercial edge and behaviour in the categories and day-to-day work, Support execution of capacity expansion projects,Responsible for contracts and purchase orders within the category. The suppliers of the category are located primarily in Europe, and Asia, hence you should expect up to 20 days of travel per year.Your success will depend on your ability to bridge the needs of the organisation and the capabilities of the suppliers, creating the best supply solutions for Novo Nordisk. QualificationsTo be considered for this position, we expect you to: hold a degree as M.Sc. or equivalent in engineering or business, have minimum 3 years of procurement, sales experience, or negotiation experience, strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of numbers, have technical knowledge within production equipment preferable within the moulding industry,have a strategic mind-set and an ability to quickly understand different business models and industry dynamics,put strategy into action by breaking the bigger picture down into specific decisions,be a change management agent and be able to negotiate with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels within their respective organisationsbe fluent in English (both written and spoken).
