Segment Manager (Commercial and Institutional Buildings) Key Accountabilities Sales • New Business Development within the Commercial and Institutional Buildings • Propose Eaton products to the customers solutions/projects and present the choice/solution • Explore, understand and follow our offer, the market and the customers • Build up a professional and proactive relationship with customers and other business partners • Define direct- and indirect customers and map them • Qualify and identify potential customers and business opportunities • Maintain customer data and opportunities in CRM system • Make and follow plan for each of your customers and business partners • Plan visits, book meetings, make meeting minutes and follow up on actions • Define, meet and exceed sales goals for turnover & margin • Make proposals and offers based on quantities and prices/discounts • Negotiate contracts, discount, prices, payment terms etc. for a win-win cooperation • Secure a high productivity Decision Making • Recommend appropriate agreements for tenders and quotes to achieve sales growth and customers profitability Planning and Organising • Planning and organizing own time, with focus on high productivity. • Develop and implement remedial actions where required. • Delivering within a tight planning and deadline driven environment Influencing • Influence and work closely with the Internal Sales department and other external salespersons, to ensure that activities are co-ordinated and resourced to ensure success • Work closely with the Sales Manager to develop the sales, sales process & go to market strategy. Communication • Utilize interpersonal skills to develop and maintain key relationships – internal (Denmark & Eaton European product divisions) and external (explore contacts at customer levels). • Monitor and report on business performance against plan. Identify issues and opportunities affecting sales/margin performance and recommend action plans • Good skills in communication, with the ability to deliver effective presentations and customer meetings • Fluency in Danish & English mandatory Problem Solving • Via dialogue proactive solves customers related issues and complaints • Analysis and assess the potential of targets in terms of growth potential and drivers of Sales Financial Responsibility • The Segment Manager will be responsible for the turnover & margin for own customers Environment Part of an environment where we are redefining Eaton Power Distribution sales in Denmark, we are doing it with openness, trust, positive behaviour, can-do-attitude, freedom under responsibility, self-management and a working together attitude to drive things forward.
