We are looking for a passionate Retail Account Manager to cover the Retail market in the Nordics. WHY DOES THIS ROLE MATTER? In this role you will contribute to and co-create the long-term success of HP’s Personal System portfolio by establishing a partnership with the assigned retail partner portfolio. The scope entails the full range of HP’s Personal System business, including Accessories like Mice, Keyboard, Webcams, Headsets, bags and desktop monitor. WHAT DOES THIS ROLE BRING YOU? The retail landscape will be your ‘playground’. You will be able to develop a long-term relationship with key stakeholders at your retailers and define together how to improve both HP’s and the partner’s business. The 4 P’s will be your guiding principles: Define the product portfolio based on retailer’s customer base Balance competitive pricing with margin maximization Ensure a healthy channel balance to place our products in the spotlight at all times Ensure preferential promotion and visibility for HP (omnichannel) Through your day-to-day contacts as well as through formal business reviews, you will actively involve your partners in defining the objectives, strategies and tactics, based on HP’s strategic initiatives. You will work very closely together with your team consisting of the other account managers as well as Category, Marketing and Trade Marketing colleagues. You will also be supported by a Retail Sales Support, in order to reach your business priorities together. In terms of Business Planning you will plan, execute, and monitor on a quarterly and yearly basis. This is about planning investments and analyzing their ROI, ensuring we invest in the right channels (offline vs online) at the right retailers (win with the winners), forecasting and tracking key account metrics and managing account level discounts and rebates. Accuracy and timeliness are key to ensure a smooth process flow. WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE ROLE? To be successful in this role you would need the following professional skills and experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in Account Management or other relevant experience Communicating, presenting, and influencing credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization Being a good listener and mastering the art of negotiating Verbal and written proficiency in English and local language Managing multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail Demonstrating time management sensibilities when scheduling, allocating and prioritizing commitments Collaborating closely with partners to develop robust business plans that optimally position HP offers in existing accounts, identify new pursuit opportunities, and contribute to accurate forecasts And you would be a person who: Is passionate about the HP products and solutions and eager to delight the customers Demonstrates self-initiative and is solution oriented: you will have a lot of ownership on your business and flexibility on how to reach your objectives Knows the art of tailoring the message and framing the product value proposition to various internal and external stakeholders Loves working in a cross functional team (sales, category, supply chain, marketing) Has a good level of resilience and loves to learn and progress, individually as well as with the team
