Job description Are you enthusiastic about health economics, have experience in health economic methods, and do you consider whether a Ph.D. degree is for you?The vacant position is with the Danish Center for Healthcare Improvements (DCHI), a research group conducting application-oriented and methodological research and teaching in health economics. The overall purpose of DCHI is to help improve the quality of the services provided by the healthcare system by providing decision-makers with essential research-based knowledge about the value for money of different healthcare services. This knowledge helps to improve the basis on which decisions are made in the Danish healthcare system. With limited budgets and greater demand for health services, it is more important than ever that society gets the most health for its money.At DCHI, we work closely with the clinical and administrative staff, other researchers, and organizations working in healthcare. It is essential that our research is informative, useful, and can impact decision-making in practice. Our research deals with topics such as:Cost-effectiveness and budget impact of new health interventionsApplication of patient-reported outcome measures, such as measures of health-related quality of lifeGeneral population preferences within decision-making In addition, DCHI provides teaching and project supervision of students in health economics in various fields of study at Aalborg University.We seek a research assistant with interest and experience in health economics methods, reimbursement and pricing of medicine and Medtech, and market access. You have a relevant master’s degree or are about to graduate and are curious about whether a research education is for you.
