Registered Manager – Residential home for adults with mental health needs and dementia.nWere looking for somebody with care management experience, whos passionate about working in the care sector and developing an outstanding service for vulnerable adults. Leading a team of committed care staff, youll be overseeing the day to day running of a residential home for adults with mental health needs and dementia. There are exciting times ahead, and the home has recently been developed so that there is a specialist dementia suite for clients over 65, and a new provision for supporting adults 18+ with mental health needs, where the focus will be on recovery and rehabilitation allowing people to regain their independence and move on in future. Youll be well supported by a team of professionals and directors who truly care about the quality of what they do.nOn offer is a salary from 38,000 – 45,000 depenedent on experience, flexible working and the chance to join a caring organisation with like-minded professionals, all working to achieve the very best service for vulnerable adults.nThe Registered Manager role n* Youll be responsible for the overall running of the residential home, ensuring that it meets all regulatory requirements.n* Leading a team of care staff, team leaders, and deputy manager to ensure that best practice is always followed.n* Ensure that CQC KLOEs are being met, and that inspections result in a good or outstanding rating.n* Work with the assessment manager to ensure that new referrals into the service are suitable, that care packages are built around their needs, and that their transition into the home is a smooth one.n* Support the staff team with their learning and developmentn* Manage the finances and budget for the home.nThe Successful Candidaten* Were looking for somebody who has worked as a Deputy Manager or Registered Manager previously in a CQC regulated service such as a residential home, supported living service or domiciliary care.n* Mental health experience would be great but experience with other client groups such as learning disabilities, complex care, emi, elderly would also lend well.n* Wed also consider applicants looking to move from childrens services into adults, if you have relevant experience with supporting MH needs.n* Youll be a strong leader of teams, able to influence and motivate people. Ideally, youll have experience of managing change.n* QCF 5 in Health and Social Care Management (or working towards) required.nWhat are you waiting for?
