We have about 1100 employees in our main offices around Europe.We are now looking for the right person to fill the position as Project Quality Manager (PQM) in Vattenfall’s Business Area Wind, Project Quality.Your tasks and responsibilities The Project Quality Manager will deliver direct support to BA Wind BU roadmaps during design and development of our wind farm components and different project teams across our Onshore, Offshore and Solar & Battery portfolio. You will ensure that quality issues are considered from the earliest phase of conceptual design, through procurement or products to project execution and handover to operations.In addition to that you will work with standardization and continuous improvement of our Project Quality Management processes within BA Wind.The position is allocated to the department Project Quality Management which is part of the BA WIND Strategy and Business Innovation – Project Quality. The specific purpose of the Project Quality Manager is to ensure the Product Quality “life cycle” in accordance to internal processes and legal compliance. The Product Quality “life cycle” with respect to Product Development, Design, Manufacturing and other verification and validations activities considering commissioning and decommissioning aspects. The role is also to provide hands on product quality to facilitate a culture of sharing and learning, which are all vital in order to ensure success on Quality requirements and standards towards Vattenfall BA WIND strategy.The following main tasks are in the responsibility of the Project Quality Manager (WD-P) in BA Wind:•Ensuring that Vattenfall standards as well as general quality standards are being implemented within a Product (Onshore/Offshore/Solar & Batteries).•Defining the structure and content of the Product Quality Plan – Product Quality “life cycle”•Defining the structure and content of the Product Quality deliverables – APQP4Wind•Risk identification and mitigation plans related to Product Quality•Supplier management process definition and implementation – Product Quality “life cycle”•Planning and executing of audits at main and sub-contractor facilities – Product oriented•Reporting on audits, follow-up of Nonconformities•Reviewing of contractors product quality related documentation e.g. ITPs, PQPs, audit reports, acceptance test protocols etc..•Client rep activities e.g. contractor audits, acceptance tests, campaigns, quality walks etc..•Training in quality topics both internally and externally•Procurement activities and contractor tender evaluations•Negotiate Quality Requirements with Contractors and suppliers.•Advise, support and assist the product team members (project) in relation to Product Quality Management matters•KPI monitoring and Power BI reportingYour profile•Engineering or University degree, with a minimum of 5+ years relevant work experience in the field of Engineering, as Quality Manager, Project Quality Manager or Lead Auditor.•Strong team player, with the flexibility to work with a network of co-worker relationships and work in multicultural teams in a fast changing environment.•Experience in large-scale energy and/or infrastructure projects•Experience in product qualification•Experience in the Solar and Battery, Offshore and Onshore Wind Sector would be highly beneficial•Good MS Office skills (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)•Good SharePoint skills•Structured, accurate and efficient way of working•Good analytical understanding•Good communication skills•High degree of one’s own initiative, engagement and reliability•Lead Auditor ISO 9001 certified (IRCA certified) beneficial although training can be provided•GWO courses relevant although will be provided•Expert knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 beneficial•APQP4Wind knowledge although training can be providedSkills, knowledge, strengths•Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing (English)•Strong team player, with the ability to influence over a wide network of co-worker relationships and work in multicultural teams•Strong ability to structure, analyse and interpret Engineering from Quality perspective, as well as presenting the information in a clear and concise format.•Able to identify quality improvements and lead them through to implementation•Ability to work independently, prioritize work in a multitask environment with a hands-on, pragmatic, pro-active and graded approach.•Management skills would be beneficial.•Knowledge within Wind business Quality supply chain.LocationThe role will be based in Kolding, Hamburg, UK, Stockholm, Amsterdam or an Vattenfall locations.
