The position As our new Medical Intelligence Director the management aspect of this job is to ensure effective cross-functional collaboration and consistent communication with internal stakeholders from other functions, at different Novo Nordisk sites globally. Besides you will ensure that all major external events are being evaluated, interpreted, and contextualized. You will have broad exposure to all areas, act as a subject matter expert, across the business and at all organizational levels, plus between Novo Nordisk and Global Key Opinion Leaders, setting the strategy for our cooperation. Your key responsibilities will include: Strategic overview, alignment, and coordination of content development Create, maintain, and manage a condensed overview of in- and external clinical activities for the complete portfolio Gather, analyse, share, and use medical and scientific feedback, from Global Key Opinion Leader interactions Active management with internal and external stakeholders Act as proxy or support for the CMO and senior medical officers Sparring partner for the senior medical officers on scientific questions and strategy Prime point of contact for internal stakeholders with specific medical questions Coordination, planning and execution of advisory service incl. input from external experts Qualifications To succeed in this role, you have: Medical Doctor education with substantial clinical and/or research expertise in relevant area (e.g., Endocrinology, Cardiology, General Practice, or Internal Medicine) Understanding of the pharmaceutical industry Demonstrated research experience (e.g., publications) Experience with strategic and scientific planning Knowledge and hands on experience in drug development life cycle Experience from a project oriented, international matrix organisation is an advantage Additional education and experience in business administration/marketing is considered a plus but is not mandatory We expect you to have excellent communication and presentation skills in English (written / spoken).
