How to contribute to our visionAs a Materials Engineer you will be a part of a versatile and strong team working with a variety of materials. Your primary area of responsibility will be within characterization (chemical) and testing (mechanical) of composites, spiced with various possible engineering challenges within metals, corrosion, polymers, elastomers, failure analysis of electronics and other interesting challenges related to our wind turbine business. In other words, a rich possibility to increase your knowledge in a lot of areas within materials engineering and to get a broad interface around the company.What are my responsibilities?Testing and characterization of compositesFailure analysis / root cause analysisMaintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment and related machinery.Development of methods, equipment, and facilities.What you need to make a differenceIdeally you have an educational background as MSc. within Materials Science, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, or similar – possibly combined with a relevant PhD degree. It is an advantage if you have experience with materials characterization, such as spectroscopy methods, thermal analysis and/or mechanical analysis. You do not necessarily have a vast work experience.
