JOB DESCRIPTION Job Description SummaryThe Lead Quality Specialist objective is the assurance of capable measurement systems are being developed and deployed through,Providing functional and technical support and advice to Quality, Engineering and Operation and other relevant Global Support Functions with respect to Measurement Systems,Acting as the company-wide focal point for managing, approving, promoting, coordinating, facilitating quality requirements, quality assurance and quality improvement projects and tasks for Measurement systems and New Development projects andGoverning the business management process for Development of new Measurement Systems.Job DescriptionRoles and ResponsibilitiesGoverning and managing New Measurement System Development and Analysis processesFinal approver of new and improved measurement system projects (CI-Control Instruction approver)Subject matter expert advising and supporting Global Operation Quality to improve global, regional, or local quality performance concerning measurement methods.Coaching Engineering and Operations in order to develop capable measurement system, complying with quality requirements and specifications.Coaching and providing technical recommendations to improve the current measurement systems used for product and process quality assurance.Managing and developing relevant quality procedures in order to fulfil LM and Customers specification.Leading the implementation and usage of relevant quality procedures, BMS processes, etc. aiming to secure product requirements to customers are met.Supporting projects relevant to measurement methodsManaging, developing, and deploying MS project management toolsAssuring the project team provides the relevant results on timeTracking and driving relevant KPIs and using standard reporting tools to update on progressConducting audits/assessments of relevant processes for CI (Control Instructions) and MSA (Measurement System Analysis) adherence and process deviations.Assuring standardization and common application of quality standards and procedures in LM.Participating in root cause analysis within the organization as Measurement System Expert (Subject Matter Expert).Supporting deployment of APQP4WIND culture within the organization.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Quality, Mechanical, Chemical or Manufacturing Engineering 5-7 years direct Engineering and/or Quality or Technical responsabilityLean Six Sigma Green belt. Black Belt – preferred Auditor or Lead Auditor certificates preferredIn depth experience in MSA and metrologyWell experienced in Quality, QA Engineering and APQP, project and risk management in wind turbine blade manufacturing or other relevant industrial manufacturingSolid experience with data analysis using Excel, Minitab, or similar IT tools. Experience with LEAN Six Sigma (DMAIC, RCAs, Voice of the customer, Capability Analysis, Pareto Charts, FMEA, 8D, DOE, SPC, Control Plan, Poka-Yoke and Benchmarking)Desired CharacteristicsWell organized, self-driven person, able to work and complete tasks independently and on timeStrong personality with own criteria and ability to influence multiple levels of leadership within the organization.Able to clearly communicate, convince, motivate, coach and inspire othersStrong organizational and analytical skills.Ability to work in multi-cultural and cross-functional teams and organization.Strong English languages skills (verbal and written) Other regional languages will be considered as a plus.Able to travel within the region and internationally at the level of 15-25% (in average)Additional InformationRelocation Assistance Provided: No
