The Position: In the position you will have a chance to set the pace for driving the Laboratory system (LIMS) system functionality across IFP. You will be the connection between line of business and the IT organisation ensuring that there exists a long-term road map for how to digitalise our laboratories – especially with focus on utilising our LIMS fully. Through doing this you will be responsible for, in close collaboration with line of business, to prioritise the most important projects, drive the projects and scale the solutions across the network. Your main tasks would be to: Drive specific projects in collaboration with line of business Develop future road maps for digital functionalities in LIMS across IFP QC laboratories. Ensure successful scaling of solutions across all IFP QC laboratories Support prioritisation of system enhancements across IFP in collaboration with IT You will be given the opportunity to develop the system, enhancing functions and impacting the wider business. Qualifications: You hold a relevant educational background e.g. Bachelor, Masters or equivalent in science, engineering or IT. You have a proven track record with several years of experience working in a laboratory in a large pharmaceutical organisation. Knowledge of IT systems, especially LabVantage LIMS would be an advantage but not a requisite. You have a QC background or knowledge on the methods used within QC. Strong communication skills with the confidence to collaborate and communicate with both users, vendors and consultants up to senior level. Fully proficient in written and oral English. As a professional, you are confident driving a high level of strategy and working cross functionally to bring together information to set the line of business and drive this forward. You are service-minded, your structured way of working and general overview enables you to handle several tasks at a time and still keep an ongoing focus on results. About the Department: You will be anchored in our Digitalisation and Automation department of our Injectable Finished Product (IFP) QC area. The department currently consists of 20 engaged professionals with the main focus on transforming our laboratories from manual processes into a future of digitalisation and automation. The department supports all IFP laboratories globally including laboratories in Denmark, Brazil, France, US and China. This is being done in close collaboration with other laboratory areas in Novo Nordisk and together with our Manufacturing IT area.
