Do you want to work in an ambitious and international company with cross boarder collaborations, and do you want to be part of the overall top 70+ in one of Denmark’s largest retail groups? The positionIn the position of Logistics Development & Controlling Director and with reference to the Executive Vice President, Logistics, you will be a part of the Logistics Management Team. Your main responsibility is to ensure the ongoing development of the JYSK Logistics setup across all 9 DCs in Europe securing that all DCs deliver a best-in-class performance, which you ensure by facilitating and driving the strategy, business plan and budget processes in Logistics. In addition, you secure effective follow-up via proactive controlling. Your team consists of: 2 Logistics Controllers1 Supply Chain Optimization position In addition, you function as Matrix Manager for the 9 DC’s Logistics Development Controlling Managers, who take on an operational responsibility for the development and controlling of the local DC.Your tasks are many and will i.e., be to: Manage, motivate, and develop your employees, in accordance with JYSK values and management principles.Facilitate and manage the logistics strategy, business plan and budget processes, including proactive follow up on the annual timelines Develop and optimize the logistics concepts across JYSK DCsResponsible for drawing up 5-year capacity plans to ensure sufficient capacity in the JYSK Logistics network to handle growth and expansion Conduct analyzes for optimal positioning of future DCsSecure the ongoing supply chain optimization for JYSK Logistics, e.g., with a focus on packaging materials and methods, optimization of loading, etc.Deliver a monthly reporting for the Logistics KPIs (Mgt. Report, Dev. Reports and DC Account (P&L)). Your success is determined by your ability to build strong relations to all relevant stakeholders across the organization and to develop the plan that enables a best-in-class logistic setup across all 9 DCs. Your backgroundTo succeed in the role, it is a prerequisite that you have a relevant education on Master level – e.g. cand.merc. or a master’s in management engineering. In addition, management experience from a similar role is a must. You have solid experience within logistics/supply chain development – preferably from an international context and you are fluent in both Danish and English.
