To support this important mission, we are looking for two IT Project Directors to take lead in managing some of our largest initiatives and projects. About the jobAs IT Project Director you will be managing the growing Global Data Office portfolio of projects, delivering solutions based on different data management platforms. You will be accountable for the overall orchestration of the Global Data Office deliverables and business outcomes and manage multiple project teams of internal and external project managers and team members. You will apply leadership and direction setting as well as guidance and coaching to the project teams in relation to project approach, activities, risks, issues, organization, and general management. You are expected to manoeuvre between traditional waterfall like project methods and the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). You will work closely together with the different agile delivery teams across the organization, our external partners, and our internal business stakeholders. You will have a high visibility and support from senior management and the position requires extensive stakeholder management at all organisational levels in Novo Nordisk. About the departmentYou will join a team of experienced IT Project Managers working in the department named Cross IT Services & Business Partnering. For the first 12-18 months you will be managing Global Data Office projects, but your role and responsibility might very well expand to other areas of Cross IT. Cross IT works to “bring data to life” across the horizontals of the Novo Nordisk value chain. Cross IT and Global Data Office are both anchored in the Global IT organisation which counts approximately 2000 employees in a global setting. QualificationsWe are looking for two ambitious, self-motivated, and proactive colleagues who can contribute to the team both professionally and personally. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in most of the following skills & experiences: 5-8 years of experience as an IT Project Director, Product Manager or Product Owner with strong leadership skills and experience in managing highly complex projects and large teamsExperience with solution design, development and implementation in an agile environment mastering different methodologies and project management Experience with implementation of IT solutions data management such as Master Data Management, Data Quality or Data Catalog is not a must, but it would give you an edgeStrong strategic, reasoning, and analytical skillsAbility to effectively plan, prioritise, execute, and follow up in a proactive and timely mannerSelf-motivated, result-oriented, and always raising the bar for yourself and othersA high degree of independence, quality mindset, and can maintain an overview also under time pressureMaster’s degree within relevant fields such as IT, Business Administration, or similar education and have stayed up to date on technology trendsHaving worked with IT projects within the pharma industry is an advantageStrong cross-functional understanding as well as excellent communication and people skills, including being fluent in English You possess strong people management skills and have a natural ability to engage your stakeholders. You can handle several tasks at the same time while keeping an ongoing focus on learning on the journey and delivering real results. Lastly, you are driven by a curiosity about people, organisation, technology, and digitalisation. You are ambitious about your projects and career and interested in growing your skills as well as expertise to lead the way.
