As a Head of Sales Development, Hospitality you will be responsible for developing and executing a structured approach to strengthening Grundfos’ position within the Hospitality market (both in New Build Project Sales and Aftermarket) through close collaboration with external and internal stakeholders. Develop and communicate a clear positioning of our products, solutions, and services to internationally operating hotel chains and other hospitality end users. As well as inspire and equip our sales professionals around the world to build and strengthen local relationships. You are an individual contributor, reporting directly to our Sr. Director of Global Sales and Service Sales Development. Your main responsibilities:• Develop and implement a structured Vertical growth plan including analyses of the market, positioning, approach and strategies (where to play and how to win).• Establish preferred vendor relationships (including framework agreements) through a GKAM approach with internationally operating hotel chains and other hospitality end users.• Represent the Vertical at various events such as exhibitions, customer events and seminars.• Both through own activities and by engaging the Grundfos CBS sales regions, grow the value of the global opportunity pipeline in Hospitality, number of RFQ and ultimately sales.• Maintain internal collaboration to continuously improve our sales- and marketing tools as well as our offerings portfolio towards Hospitality• Ensure knowledge-sharing concerning future customer needs and long-term market trends with relevant portfolio managers and PD.• Develop business plans for bigger and more complex business development projects.• Drive global, market-specific, network meetings and interfaces with key product and other management personnel. Your backgroundWe imagine that you have: • Most likely 10 years of experience in sales development and/or business development.• Proficient in developing and implementing sales development plans within sales organizations.• Skilled in implementing strategic initiatives in complex business environments, especially in large manufacturing settings.• Experienced in working with large (project) teams and complex processes in an international organization. • Proven track record in establishing and maintaining preferred vendor relationships with global companies at senior managerial and executive levels.• Expertise in creating and implementing global framework agreements.• Ability to gather knowledge from stakeholders and translate it into valuable propositions for specific verticals.• Previous experience with developing key strategies and conducting complex projects within the sales organization.• Serves as a role model regarding Strategy and company values: innovation, collaboration, customer centricity and accountability.
