The position As the Head of PMO, you will be a key driving force behind the successful execution of our major CAPEX project. You will lead and mentor a team of dedicated project managers, ensuring that our project is well-planned, executed, and delivered to meet business objectives. Your responsibilities include: Direct project execution Develop the organisation to ramp up Create and developing the high-level project plan Monitor and control project work Manage resources during project execution Establish the appropriate project governance together with Project Director and project owner The head of PMO is overall responsible that systems are in place to ensure a structured management of the scope, governance, and project interfaces. The role encompasses stakeholder management towards strategy planning and execution, including business plans. It involves driving organizational development in close collaboration with HR and the Project Director, working towards the future organization and first product to market. Qualifications The job requires a high degree of independence and a high degree of interaction across the entire project, with site management and projects and with the global expansion programme. The head of PMO proactively defines overall project goals and deliverables in close collaboration with the Project Director and adds value to every aspect of the project by delivering key professional insights, shaping approaches and methods, and considering alternative project strategies. Ideally, you see yourself in the following description: 5-10 years relevant experience in similar positions leading projects or business support Extensive experience working on complex projects in various roles including roles within project management and leadership, preferably from the pharmaceutical industry or other regulated industries People leadership experience is preferred You possess excellent English communication skills About the department The Fill & Finish Expansions DMS II project is a greenfield project in Denmark, with the objective of setting up plastic injection moulding and pre-assembly capabilities for our upcoming device manufacturing. You will be joining Fill & Finish Expansions. The area is anchored in Product Supply, Quality & IT, which globally employ approximately 20,000 of Novo Nordisk’s 50,000 employees. Fill & Finish Expansions is a newly established and growing area with the responsibility to design, plan and build all major fill & finish expansion projects across PSQIT to serve the needs of millions of patients.
