Based at our corporate headquarters in Hedehusene, Denmark, you will be part of the ROCKWOOL Group Public Affairs & Sustainability team.Your new roleReporting to ROCKWOOL Group’s Director of Public Affairs & Sustainability, you will play a key role in strengthening ROCKWOOL’s global leadership position within sustainability, with particular focus on circularity. Key result areas include:Reinforcing our thought-leadership position within circularity, including having a key role in the Rockcycle® strategic initiative.Collaborating closely with our global business units to support driving our sustainability agenda locally.Strengthening and developing our sustainability narrative and messaging within inter alia energy efficiency, decarbonisation and circularity based on the development of existing and new data points.Providing subject matter input to Group Sustainability Report and marketing campaigns.Supporting in the development of articles, blogs, op-eds in collaboration with Group Communication.Thorough preparation of briefs, speaking notes, etc. supporting key internal stakeholders at various speaker opportunities and media appearances.Positioning ROCKWOOL in relevant thought-leadership events.Engaging with key external stakeholders to maximise value added of strategic partnerships.What you´ll need to succeedMinimum 7-12 years’ experience, ideally with an international background including in the corporate sector. Experience within the construction sector and knowledge for example of sustainability building rating/certification schemes would be an added bonus.A Masters Degree preferably combining both business and sustainability. Strong communication skills, mastering written and spoken English at a very high professional business level.Analytical skills to understand detailed, technical knowledge and transform it into strong messaging.An inter-cultural skillset, to establish strong positive stakeholder relationships.You are decisive, motivating, results oriented and working with a high sense of urgency.You will be based at our Headquarters in Hedehusene, just outside Copenhagen but a certain level of travel typically within Europe is expected.What you´ll get in returnROCKWOOL offers an important role in an international environment where sustainability is an integral part of our business strategy.
