The PositionAs a Global Category Manager in Corporate Procurement R&D, you will be leading and supporting Global sourcing and contracting activities for our global Research sites. You will work closely with Category Managers within R&D categories and drive global implementation of Category strategies. You will act as a Procurement Business partner to our global research sites on identifying cost-out opportunities in our global organisation as well as drive procurement best practice, category management, sourcing activities, and negotiations. You will manage the sourcing process and drive large supplier contract negotiations in collaboration with R&D global stakeholders. Furthermore, you will be exposed to different organisational areas throughout R&D and beyond, and the job offers frequent interactions as well as presentations to senior management. You will work in a high paced environment and be part of a dynamic and highly collaborative team.QualificationsAs an ideal candidate you have: Master’s Degree in, e.g., Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, Law, Supply Chain Management, or similar with great results Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience from working with e.g., procurement project management, sourcing, category management, supply chain, or business development within procurement in an international organization or a consulting companyStrong procurement toolbox, strategic and innovative mindset, and efficient in complex contract negotiations. You have excellent execution skills, strong communication and collaboration toolbox, you feel comfortable in high stake situations, and can handle difficult global negotiationsProficient English. Danish is a plus As a professional, you use data to drive evidence-based decision-making and complete high-quality complex analyses. You are self-driven and can deliver results independently. You have great stakeholder management skills and can drive change management in a diverse customer landscape, using your leadership skills to influence and impact key stakeholders. Finally, you have excellent presentation skills and can communicate at all levels of the organisation.
