You will be part of a high-performing team of 6 employees and you will among others: Handle Novo Nordisk’s day-to-day liquidity in various currencies, including investments of excess cash Manage financial risks with a key focus on FX Support decisions related to Novo Nordisk’s capital structure including dividends, share buybacks, and bond issuances Conduct financial analysis to senior management This means that you will follow developments in financial markets, be in frequent contact with our international banks and trade on behalf of Novo Nordisk. Due to the importance of the cash and financial risk management activities, you will also interact frequently with internal stakeholders and deliver clear and concise recommendations to among others the CFO, the Audit Committee, and the Board of Directors. It is very important for us to continuously develop our employees to take on increased responsibilities. Qualifications You have strong analytical skills and a solid educational background, e.g. a MSc in Finance, Economics, or alike, and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience from an international company or the financial sector. You are a natural user of technology with strong analytical skills, and you quickly find to the core of a problem. With the overall purpose in mind, you are able to make complexities easy to understand in both written and spoken English. As a person, you are curious and collaborative by nature with a positive attitude towards challenges. As you will be engaging with many different stakeholders around the global finance organisation it is important that you are able to handle different priorities at the same time while holding on to your good sense of humour. Finally, you are open for rotation and development across Corporate Treasury and potentially for Treasury positions outside of Denmark. About the department Corporate Treasury is globally responsible for managing Novo Nordisk’s cash and liquidity thereby ensuring that sufficient cash is available for both internal and external investments. To protect the cash as well as the profit from negative impacts, Treasury handles and mitigates financial risks, with a key focus on currency exposure. People are Treasury’s core asset and consequently, we have a strong focus on people development.
