Currently we are looking for a Field Technical Engineer CRM  who will join our team on a full-time basis.


The Field Technical Engineer is responsible for promotion of Abbott Medical’s portfolio through professional and technical support to medical personnel. The aim is to use strong support to increase usage of currently installed systems, increase the number of centers using systems and increase usage of Abbott disposables. The Field Technical Engineer is also responsible for ensuring that all questions of a technical nature from the field or internally are answered in an expeditious manner.


·Actively seek opportunities to increase satisfaction with and/or usage of Abbott Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) therapies, products and services.

·To be conversant with all Abbott CRM product portfolio. To understand and be able to professionally present the clinical merits and value of full CRM portfolio (product and services) and the comparativeconsiderations of alternative therapeutic approaches.

·Provide technical and clinical support to customers by responding to enquiries and providing effective and timely resources and/or personal competencies.

·Create and provide customer trainings and educations

·Sales and marketing of CRM products and services

·Enhance the value of Abbott CRM therapies and products and support tender processes

·Provide support to sales and marketing personnel in the development and presentation of sales proposals, tenders and contracts.

·Ensure Abbott policies and quality procedures are followed.

·Contribute to implementation of strategies and tactics to facilitate patient access and reduce waiting lists by enhanced support of current accounts and establishment of new accounts

· Provide market and competitor information to the sales organization


  • Degree in medical engineering, healthcare/medical, scientific or equivalent

  • Good knowledge of Danish and English, both written and verbal, other Nordic/Baltic an advantage

  • Teaching and Presentations skills 

  • Previous experience in medical/pharmaceutical sales, technical or clinal support or healthcare or in the healthcare industry

  • Demonstrated abilities to hospital environment and with the medical professionals

  • Strong influential skills – Gaining commitment through effective influencing and stakeholder management. Able to get strong buy-in from customers as well as from management.

  • Good in building relations 

  • Strong teamwork and facilitation: be an active member of teams. Listens actively and responds constructively to needs and views of others
