Environmental Monitoring Professional – Novo Nordisk – Søborg

The position Environmental Monitoring is one of the prerequisites for compliant pharma production. You will play an important role in ensuring Aseptic Filling Facilities operate compliant and efficiently at the Novo Nordisk production sites world-wide. Additional responsibilities involve supporting our sites in environmental monitoring, qualification, aseptic operations and cleaning/growing. Key responsibilities include: Participation in troubleshooting and general support. Maintenance of global corporate documents and procedures. Support in qualification of technologies and improvements across the organisation. Provide support in audits and inspections. You will be cooperating with colleagues from different cultures, different areas of expertise and at different organizational levels. You will be working out of Søborg, Denmark, and travel up to 20 days over the course of the year may be required in support of our global facilities. Furthermore, there will be plenty of opportunities to take on new responsibilities, growth, and development. Qualifications Your experiences include: A bachelor or master’s degree within Biology, Pharmacy, Engineering, Microbiology or equivalent, with 3+ years expertise within one or more areas of environmental monitoring in aseptic production. Experience with validation, re-validation, and APS (media fill). Strong analytical and statistical skills. Good understanding in regulatory requirements for Environmental Monitoring. High sense of quality and know how to handle Quality Management System documentation. As a person, you are service minded, goal oriented and a strong team player. You are accustomed to and thrive working in a dynamic environment with the ability to prioritise between many important tasks. You set pride in providing excellent support to colleagues and are fluent in written and spoken English. About the department Injectable Finished Products Manufacturing Development (IFP ManDev) is anchored in Product Supply and globally address 19, of Novo Nordisk’s 55, employees. The responsibility of IFP ManDev is global product and process support and site improvement projects across the production network. You will be working in a team with dedicated professionals and specialists within different aspects of aseptic production; three of these colleagues possess expertise in Environmental Monitoring. We support both running production and new projects and are also involved in the development and implementation of new technologies. We interpret external Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements and ensure global harmonization. As part of this, we support the sites with the creation of documentation such as global Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Change Requests and Deviations.
