Polymer Engineering Modification of bio-based materials for coatings technology Udbyder Vejleder Sted København og omegn We are looking for master/bachelor students (master’s thesis, bachelor’s thesis, special course, or internship) for a project that aims to modify a bio-based ingredient for its successful incorporation into coatings for different functional properties. The thesis would be carried out at the Hempel Foundation Coatings Science and Technology Centre (CoaST), DTU Chemical & Biochemical Engineering (KT).The proposed project offers an introduction to coatings technology and an insight into the challenges faced by the heavy-duty industry all over the world. You would explore the core fundamentals – bio-based coatings & their properties, the practical expertise of how they are formulated, the green raw materials utilized, and coating performance & testing analyses.
