The Role The Director, IT Business Partner, specializing in Clinical, QA, and Manufacturing & Supply Chain areas, is primarily responsible for business relationship management across Genmab’s core functions in Copenhagen, Denmark. The Director, ITBP will have overall accountability for the strategy, development, expansion, and support of data and digital systems essential to creating a modern workplace experience for all Genmab employees within the Clinical, QA, and Manufacturing & Supply Chain domains.At Genmab, IT & Digital follows a global, service-based operating model; the Senior IT Business Partner will work closely with the Head of Business Applications, the Global IT Business Partner, and other members of the IT&D Leadership Team to develop relevant capabilities and employee-centric services.Responsibilities• Establish and develop effective business relationships with key business functions (including but not limited to Clinical, QA, and Manufacturing & Supply Chain areas) to ensure IT&D can deliver solutions that align with business strategies• Develop an incubator framework to ensure co-innovation between business and IT&D, especially on key digital initiatives in the Clinical, QA, and Manufacturing & Supply Chain domains• Act as the single point of contact for IT&D for both new demands and escalation management• Educate the business stakeholders on IT services and capabilities, promote the enterprise IT&D strategy, platforms, and unification of services• Facilitate IT change and communication management across assigned business functions• Help establish business cases for future initiatives and projects in alignment with the global strategy and assist the business teams in realizing the ROI on technology investments• Educate the business on IT processes, security, and compliance requirements to ensure adherence to organizational and regulatory obligations• Manage vendor relationships with both local and global vendors as requiredRequirements• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent Degree) in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field. Master’s Degree preferred• Minimum of 10 years of experience as an IT business partner, or at an IT consulting firm working with a Pharma or Biotech company, with a focus on Clinical, QA, and/or GMP areas• Minimum of 5 years of experience working with global stakeholders and team members• Knowledge of business models, operating models, financial models, cost-benefit analysis, budgeting, and risk management• Solid understanding of Clinical Development processes and systems/data flow• Demonstrated experience overseeing global teams and enterprise-wide initiatives• Experience working with structured Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies• Ability to elicit complex business requirements in front of both small and large audience, comprising of both business and IT professionals• Strong knowledge of Office tools, mobile, apps, and other IT capabilities expected for a senior IT role• Exceptional soft and interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation• Strong leadership and influencing skills• Excellent investigative and technical skills• Excellent planning and organizational skillsAbout YouYou are passionate about our purpose and genuinely care about our mission to transform the lives of patients through innovative cancer treatmentYou bring rigor and excellence to all that you do.
