Then we are looking for you.As our next Department Manager, you will be part of the Antibody & Probe Production Area at our site in Glostrup. The position is highly visible in the organization, as the department output is a key ingredient in the diagnostic kits, produced by Agilent. You will be heading the Cells & Probes Department. The department is composed of highly skilled laboratory technicians and academics and encompass in total 15 members. The department is responsible for our monoclonal antibody production in mammalian cell cultures; preparation of control slides for our kits (i.e sectioning of cell blocks); and production of fluorescent DNA probes. This includes testing of the intermediates along the process flow with validated assays. In addition, our portfolio is growing so introduction of new products and processes in collaboration with R&D is a part of the job as well. The Antibody & Probe Production Area is a dynamic area with high focus on collaboration. The area is responsible for the production of all the active ingredients in our diagnostic kits. With several hundred different products coming out of the area, we have a lot of specialized production methods and analyses – most of which are at laboratory scale. We have focus on continuous improvements where we optimize and automate our processes and methods. There is a friendly atmosphere within the area, with plenty of rooms for laughs and a relaxed tone among colleagues.
