Commissioning Engineer (m/f/d) – Danfoss – Nordborg

Job ResponsibilitiesAs our new Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for the commissioning and support activities of our Danfoss Drives marine system projects. Besides service activities, you will facilitate training for our end users as well. You will be communicating and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders and can expect to travel to the locations where our customers and sub suppliers are based. We strive to achieve the best possible and available level of technical commissioning and service within the given budget. We require you be self-driven and have an active approach to your work. Confident to make decisions and solve problems. Organize and deal with several topics simultaneously and share your feedback to our development team. Even challenge the development team if required. The best available solution must be provided for our customers and sub suppliers. To be successful in this position, we would like to see that you have a bachelor’s and or master’s degree in electrical and or automation engineering, preferably combined with 3 years or more of relevant work experience in a commissioning/service environment. Additionally, we would like you to: Can work independently and manage site project teams to create and maintain require documentation from the relevant site activities; Possess a customer and service-oriented mindset. Have a systematic approach towards work and able to communicate with different internal stakeholders at all levels based in EU regions, US and or China; Conduct and participate in harbour and Sea Trial Acceptances; Have technical experience concerning frequency converters, switchgears and rotating machines; Understand the related standards and approvals. Experience with system project business in the marine industry, typical requirements in the marine industry and understanding of the different requirements between the regions; Adequate technical understanding from required development and documentation tools; Fluent English (in word and writing) language skills.
