Join us in our mission to #BringDataToLife The positionAs a Cloud Development Specialist you will play a central role in architecting and delivering scalable solutions for our business areas, leveraging our data management and data science platforms on AWS. Your tasks include:Defining and taking ownership of our cloud solutions, from data engineering projects to data infrastructure, including ongoing platform developmentProviding technical guidance and feasibility/scope assessments for leadership regarding the implementation and adoption of cloud technologiesContribute to the technological backbone across the organisation regarding the use of AWS, and function as a subject matter expert on productionising cloud-based data science solutionsUsing behaviour driven design principles to ensure that quality, security, and GxP compliance are early and natural design considerations in our solutions Furthermore, you will:Participate in a cross-department team of specialists deployed on high level, complex use cases that precede infrastructure rollout across our platformsCoach and share knowledge with your colleagues through demos, co-development, and sparring, ensuring that expertise is spread across the team to enable collaborative ways of workingContinuously develop your professional knowledge and skills through participation in external industry events such as seminars, conferences and publishing activities. Since you will be working in a global environment, you must expect some meetings to take place outside Danish working hours and some travel activity. Qualifications and backgroundThis position suits the cloud developer that loves data, the DevOps specialist that loves automation, and the skilled professional that loves working with a diverse and engaged team. You have:Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, software development or a related field. At least 5 years’ experience working with contemporary cloud technologies, ideally AWSExperience working in large organisations, as an internal colleague or a consultantExperience deploying with CI/CD and working with modern build, test and deployment toolsA deep understanding of infrastructure automation and infrastructure as codeStrong skills with two or more of the following programming languages: Python, Rust, Go, or TypeScriptExperience working in a regulated industry, such as life sciences or banking, would be an advantageFluent spoken and written English. You can:Write code. Data Management & Analytics is a global, high performing department with a variety of technical and analytical backgrounds. We do data acquisition and ingestion; data analysis and data engineering; evangelising the use of data and advanced analytics; and supporting data science users of our platform.
