About the departmentEarly Clinical Pharmacology is a department in Research and Early Development. As an integrated part of Global Translation, we are scientifically responsible for designing, planning and execution of early Clinical Pharmacology studies. The positionAs Clinical Pharmacology Specialist, you will be working in close collaboration with various stakeholders on preparation of First Human Dose (FHD) and other early drug development trials across Novo Nordisk growing portfolio:You will be responsible for the early clinical pharmacology strategy and the design of FHD and early clinical pharmacology trials. You will be scientifically responsible for FHD trial protocols, contact to investigator, and interpretation and reporting of trial results. You will be driving and coordinating activities in the study group, providing scientific input in the project teams, collaborating with our affiliates and external partners involved in managing our clinical trials, and interacting with many internal and external stakeholders. You will have an excellent opportunity to increase your competencies within early drug development while contributing to build fit-for-purpose processes. QualificationsThe preferred candidate has the following qualifications: A PhD degree in Life Sciences or related discipline.At least 3 years of experience in clinical pharmacology from either academia or industry. A strong scientific mindset combined with experience in planning and conducting clinical trials.Experience in managing cross-functional global teams in a dynamic environment. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with high performing colleagues. You are proficient in both written and spoken English.
