Summary of role
As part of the Nordic Market Intelligence team, the Client Solutions Consultant will be responsible for delivering data, insights and intelligence to our Clients. Growth from Knowledge is part of GfK’s DNA and you will be part of the team that provides our clients in the Nordics with the Knowledge that will help them grow.
You will work closely with the rest of the team consisting of experienced consultants, supporting them with reports and analyses needed for meetings and presentations with clients. You will also work directly with clients, providing them with data and insights and answering questions and manage requests they might have. Your role sits within the Market Intelligence team, but key to your success is your ability to work closely with other functions and teams, both within the Nordic local organisation and GfK globally.
Market Intelligence (MI) is one of several GfK Client solutions, each specialized in creating insights from different types of data sources. MI is primarily working with Point of Sales data from the Technical Consumer Goods industry. Part of your role is also to work with research methodology related tasks and projects to ensure that our deliveries of point of sales data is meeting the high quality requirements we have. Numbers and data are a fundamental part of the daily job, but understanding our clients’ needs and their business is what we really focus on.
This vacancy is a cover for a maternity leave and fixed to 12 months. There is, however, a good chance that this temporary position will become a permanent one by the end of the term.
Manage requests from defined clients
Support colleagues with presentation preparations
Create customized market analyses
Produce standardized market analyses and summarize and conclude findings from them
Design new and improve existing reports and other client deliveries
Ensure client service is delivered to the agreed standard
Work with the client delivery team to ensure data quality and deliverables are timely, fit for purpose and meeting client needs
Develop market and product knowledge
Manage tasks related to research methodology
You have a relevant University degree in e.g. Business or Economics and preferably also a few years of work experience in a role where analysing and understanding sales data or other business related information was an essential part of your job.
You have a high level of energy and drive and is eager to learn new things. Taking own initiatives comes naturally for you and you can manage your tasks and responsibilities on your own. You are a team player and likes to work closely with other people, but you also have the ability to work independently.
You have an interest in technology and/or technical consumer goods and are willing to become a market expert in the industry. You like to work with numbers, but also have an understanding of what the numbers actually mean for our clients. Most importantly, you are client-centric and have a passion for helping other people.

Able to support the building of tailored presentations for manufacturers and retailers, using a systematic analysis process and understanding the data
Eye for detail and high quality standards
Able to support with client relationships
Good communication skills
English and Danish or any other Scandinavian language
