This position will be responsible for selling and promoting Eurofins Discovery Biology, Chemistry and DMPK Services in the assigned Territory in addition to supporting the global Services strategy. The candidate will work with the Eurofins Discovery Team to achieve the sales targets. The position’s primary responsibility will be to develop new relationships with companies focused on small molecule drug discovery and effectively prospect to uncover new opportunities for the Eurofins Discovery business.
Responsible for sales of Eurofins Discovery services across Scandinavia
Works collaboratively with the Eurofins Discovery sales team to promote Eurofins Discovery to companies working in drug discovery.
Supports sales of DiscoverX products where applicable.
Contributes to the global strategy by providing recommendations and feedback for both business development and operational strategy.
Responsible for meeting sales targets and revenue growth targets for specified territory.
Excellent understanding of the drug discovery market in assigned region including target companies, size of market and emerging technologies/modalities etc.
Development and maintain high level client relationships through regular meetings, both face-to-face and virtual
Work with members of the sales team and operations to drive business
Maintain a high level of technical and application competence and utilize this knowledge to drive business.
Promote and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
Provide feedback and analysis to operations to improve/adjust/expand marketing strategies.
Performs other duties as assigned, example: attend trade shows, present capabilities
Ability to travel approximately 40%
Use Eurofins Discovery’s CRM to log client meetings and significant calls as well as for the tracking of all opportunities
Completion and regular updating of account plans
Bachelor, Masters, or PhD in Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or related field is require
Excellent knowledge of the drug discovery and development process, including integrated outsourcing strategies
Understanding of, or prior experience, in the pharmaceutical industry and proven ability to analyse and act on the global business trends to drive regional business development activities.
Exceptional business development, organisation, negotiation and communication skills.
Track record of successful selling
Existing client network in Scandinavian countries
Must be fluent in English
