The positionWe are looking for a student assistant to support our Tableau and data experts with various task like:* Supporting senior experts with complex projects establishing data insights for our stakeholders * Being responsible for every step until we can create value from our date, i.e., scoping the problem, stakeholder management, setting up the data pipeline and designing your own dashboardsThe dashboards will be used across the organization, with the potential of getting large amounts of users, optimizing behaviour and decision-making, creating better products for patients across the globe. Project-based position, meaning little repetitive work and a continuous learning curve. Overall, the position will enable you to put your theoretical knowledge into practice while at the same time gain industry experience and build a network with talented professionals in the organisation. The working hours are 8-16 hours per week, and we are located in Novo Nordisk site Gentofte.QualificationsIdeally you are engaged in an Academic education with a focus on Data Management or Data Analysis and thrive in Transforming Data from various sources into impactful Data Visualizations. Specifically, it is an advantage if you have knowledge in relational algebra or SQL and construction of dashboards in Tableau or PowerBI. However, these are also skills that can be learned while working in our department. For personal skills, you should have a mindset of an entrepreneur, driven, self-engaged and with a drive to complete projects. Furthermore, curious about the data, manufacturing intelligence and the pharmaceutical industry, to develop useful data visualizations. Additionally, able to communicate with people from different educational backgrounds, as you will be working in close collaboration with people from different parts of the organization, in both written and spoken English. About the departmentYou will be part of the Digital & Projects Students team within our Manufacturing Development area. Main responsibilities for the team are supporting and optimizing all parts of the production, using IT, data and lean, from the manufacturing of active pharmaceutical ingredients, all the way through packaging to finished products.We are currently on a journey towards becoming even more data driven in this role and need a person to join us.Working at Novo NordiskNovo Nordisk is its people.
