Reimagine your future, with Sephora. Sales & Event tarteist™Reports to:  Sales & Education Specialist or Account Executive at Tarte, but you will be emplyed on a contract with Sephora.(Part-time position, up to 25 hours per week)Key Competencies:•    Action Oriented•    Approachability•    Customer Focus•    Organizing•    Presentation Skills•    Drive for Results The role:  The Sales & Event tarteist™ (SET) is essential to tarte’s success at store level.  The SET works at designated stores & has the primary responsibility of interacting with store employees, managers & clients & guests.  They represent tarte’s mission statement & meet sales goals through personal sales. In addition, SETs educate on tarte products, hold in-store events & teach beginning level natural artistry™ techniques.  They support local trainings & events as needed.The ideal candidate must enjoy the retail environment, have a passion for people, service & artistry. The candidate must be a strong seller, with the ability to pull, consult & build a sale while adhering to our retailer’s guidelines & standards.  The SET must be driven to meet sales goals in the stores they are assigned. Primary responsibilities:Sales, education, events & tarteistry™    Achieve targeted sales goals for assigned stores    Evaluate each store’s sales results with Account Executive (AE) or Sales & Event Specialist (SES) weekly & develop action plans as needed    Schedule & coordinate in-store sales support, events & education     Educate tarte’s retail partners with a focus on product knowledge, tarteistry™ & selling skills    As the primary day-to-day brand contact for designated stores, build & develop strong relationships with retailer partners at store level    Work major events as requested by AE or SESOperations    Complete schedules, t-sheets, Concur & event recaps by due dates    Review tarte in-store merchandising, visual programs & communicate concerns to AE or SES    Provide continual communication of any store concerns, stock concerns, product packaging or formula issues, space & location challenges & competitive initiatives to AE or SES Qualifications & required skills    1+ years of retail sales & artistry experience    Demonstrated skills in communication, selling, beauty industry product knowledge & artistry    Experience in education & events a plus    Ability to take strategic direction based on sales analysis    Memorable, positive, professional & enthusiastic presence    Self-motivated, committed & goal-oriented individual    Multi-store visit calendar booking & management ability    Ability to travel as required    Flexibility with work hours, i.e. weekends & evenings    Experience working in an open-sell environment a plus    Act as a great ambassador for both Tarte and Sephora While at Sephora, you’ll enjoy… Beauty & Beyond:Every day we reimagine beauty, discover new brands, and influence positive change.
