Job DescriptionWould you like to challenge your automation talents in an international company, where you will take part in a specific Airport or Logistic Systems project. We are looking for a total of 2 Interns, 1 for each team.Create the technology for our future productAs you learn our systems you will take part in the automation part of our projects. In the projects you and your colleagues design, programme and configure controls for our baggage handling and logistics systems worldwide. You take part in all the project phases, when relevant, from specifications trough PLC programming, design, testing and commissioning and will be a dedicated member of either the Airport team or the Logistic Systems team.Our expectationsWe expect that you will manage tasks from A-Z with support from our Team Managers and colleagues. The projects will normally include:Help clarify the functions required by our customers with our sales and systems department.Support the team in making functional and detailed design specifications for approval.Review and edit product specifications which will be used to specify functionality towards the customerTake part in the development of the automation delivery.You will have an Automation Engineer as a regular mentor, but we expect a high degree of knowledge in acquiring and processing information regarding the technical solution. You will weekly be asked to present project status to the Automation Team Managers, in order to ensure progress.Gain valuable experience and create valueThe end goal of your work with BEUMER Group will be a well-documented and tested solution that complies with the quality BEUMER Group is well-known for. We should be able to directly integrate the solution into our standard product portfolio.As an intern, you become part of our Automation Controls team within either Airport or Logistic Systems. Here, you join a team of creative and highly-skilled colleagues. You will be provided with a dedicated mentor, ensuring that you will have all the necessary tools and knowledge to get going, and who will be supporting you during the entire internship.
