You will report directly to CFO Nordic & Baltics, and your daily work will be in Ballerup with the possibility to be enrolled in our Home Office scheme.As a successful Senior Finance Controller/ Accounting Manager, your primary focus on this varied and diverse role is to deliver across all aspects of finance and accounting of Thales DIS Danmark A/S, whilst also working closely with your colleagues in Thales Nordic countries.The main responsibilities are:Closing monthly financial results, ensuring compliance with Local and Group accounting requirements (IFRS)Reporting including monthly management reporting, monthly VAT reporting, handling legal entity reporting, financial analysisSupporting manufacturing controller in manufacturing accounting and reportingManaging audits and interfacing with external audit teamsCoordination of outsourced “Order to Cash” and “Purchase to Pay” processes including expense claims with Thales Business Support Services center (TBSS)Ensuring not only financial and business compliance with legal and regulatory requirements but also compliance with all relevant for Thales, procedure, policies, regulatory processes, and governments regulationsUnderstanding of payroll related entries and accruals, coordination of external payroll service provider together with HR.Senior Finance Controller/ Accounting Manager would also be in charge of treasury related functions.The main responsibilities are:Cash and Bank Reconciliations coordination (TBSS)Bank Guarantees coordinationCash management in Group tools (Kyriba (external: in & out), Diapason (internal: in& out)We have as high expectations as youTo succeed in this position, you have a minimum 7+ years’ experience in financial and management accounting including bookkeeping, reporting and annual planning. It will be an advantage if you have experience in using Oracle and experience in statutory account preparation along with knowledge in local regulatory and accounting requirements. General understanding of corporate taxation and transfer pricing is also an asset.We appreciate your ability to take responsibility, meet deadlines and multi-tasking, as well as your proactive approach.You are known as a colleague with service minded attitude and willingness to support others. You like to work independently and have good communication and problem solving skills.You will work effortlessly with your colleagues from different cultures.
