In the department Cells & Probes under Antibody & Probe Production, we are responsible for upstream monoclonal antibody production, probe production for hybridization kits, and production of control slides for the test kits. The key proficiencies of the department are therefore to grow various types of cells hybridomas, mammalian cells and The department are also responsible for various in-process controls (e.g., ELISA and Octet).As one of our internal experts has found new challenges within the organization, and another is going on parental leave, we are looking for two responsible, dedicated and self-driven candidates that can help with daily support and projects. We are currently recruitment for two positions – one permanent position and a temporary position of 18 months. Hence, both experienced and newly educated are encouraged to apply. As our new Academic Supporter, you will become part of a department with 5 supporters and 9 technicians.Your main tasks will include:Supporting lab techs in case of technical issuesHandling compliance issues according to GMP standardsHandling reagent-related customer complaintsDrive changes and optimizations, including instrument implementation as well as digitalization and automation projectsParticipating in projects, including development projectsParticipating in and drive LEAN optimization projects, capacity upscale projects and similar activitiesCollaborating with stakeholders in QA, RA, and R&DTherefore, you will have daily collaboration with the technicians of the department, but also work closely together with specialists from a wide range of areas throughout the company. Furthermore, you may represent the department in multidisciplinary project groups.QualificationsWe are looking for a motivated individual with the following background:Master/PhD Degree in Life Science (preferably Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology or similar)Experience with growth of mammalian cellsExperience with growth of and plasmid purificationExperience with antibody assaysExperience with nick translation labeling of DNA is an advantageKnowledge of systemic problem solving, and LEAN is an advantageExperience in working under GMP and Medical Device regulations will be an advantageFull fluency in English and Danish.On a personal level you are open minded, and you are happy to take ownership of various projects and make decisions.
